... It is difficult to describe what happened during the program, but it was for me a transformative experience. The power of the event was the group attending as it is so much easier to see in others what you do not want to see you in yourself.

I realized that if the names of the people, the places, the points in time in their stories were different from mine, we all shared the same pain and in fact the same story of separation, of being distanced from ourselves. This is when “I came back home”, that is how it felt, to come back home after a long journey into the wild, it all made sense and it all crystalized into understanding that I couldn’t become who I was, I could simply let go of who I was not and the sense of liberation was total. I also understood now why Kristel didn’t want to have 1-2-1 sessions with me, as I would have played the game I wanted to play instead of playing the game I needed to play.
